WEL Medical Ltd is committed to driving out acts of modern day slavery from within its own business and from within its supply chains. The Company acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers of goods and services to the organisation.
The organisational structure of the business is a privately owned enterprise that supplies high quality pre hospital medical products to its customers. Within the supply of medical equipment there are relationships with external businesses for the sourcing of products (imports etc). These as well as the suppliers of services make up the supply chains within WEL Medical Ltd.
As part of the companies due diligence processes into slavery and human trafficking the supplier approval process will incorporate a review of the controls undertaken by our key suppliers that we import from that are outside of the UK and EU and that they are potentially more at risk from slavery / human trafficking issues. The level of management control required for these sources will be continually monitored. The Senior Management Team has visited its suppliers and reviewed its working processes, warehouse procedures and transportation network and is completely satisfied with their internal processes.
The company will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.
The Company Directors and Senior Management shall take the responsibility for implementing this policy statement and its objectives and shall provide adequate resources (training etc) and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the organisation within its supply chains.
This policy statement will be reviewed annually and published.
